Recon Cruise to Spoonbill RV Park

UPDATE: Because of weather, this cruise has been postponed 1 week.  It is now from Jan 30 - Feb 1.  

This is a cruise to the Smith Point area to explore the approaches to Spoonbill RV Park by dinghy with a depth sounder in an effort determine the feasibility of having an official cruise there later in the year. The current thought is that it is too shallow to allow our boats in anymore but we're going to go find out.

While there are no specific activities planned other than the exploration, there is a high likelihood of boat to boat visiting via dinghies and cockpit cocktails while anchoring out with a great view across the water of a spectacular sunset. Do bring warm clothes. It could be chilly.

There is also a boat ramp if you'd like to join in on the fun but don't want to spend the night at anchor.
