Membership Information
Texas Mariners Cruising Association is a 501(c)(7) nonprofit social club formed in 1979 to promote cruising and related boating activities. Our memberhip is for both power and sail. Cruises are organized throughout the year for many destinations on Galveston Bay, the Gulf Coast and beyond. In addition, numerous social events are scheduled, ranging from informal dock parties at local marinas to the Annual Commodore's Ball.
Education is also an important element of TMCA. Monthly meetings feature educational and entertaining programs, while occasional courses are sponsored on a variety of boating topics. Naturally, the greatest educational benefit comes from participation in the club cruises.
Organized cruises can be day or weekend adventures on Galveston Bay. We will also have an annual trip where we charter boats for one to two weeks in Mexico, the Caribbean, Belize, Croatia, and other exotic places.
TMCA members include families, couples, and singles - a wonderful group of people sharing a common interest. We welcome you to our boating comunity and hope you will get to know our members, most of whom keep their boats in the Clear Lake area.
> Single Membership $45.00
Single Memberships receive all the benefits of membership, including a single voting right, single admission at member prices to TMCA events and subscription to The Texas Mariner.
> Dual Membership $75.00
Dual Memberships are for couples or co-owners and receive all the benefits of membership, including voting rights for two, admission for two at member prices to TMCA events and a single subscription to the Texas Mariner.
- Memberships are for 1 year from January 1 to December 31.
- $25 Membership Initiation Fee applied to new members.
- After July 1st memberships are reduced for the remainder of the year to $23 Singles and $38 Dual.
