Texas Mariners Cruising Association
The Largest Boating Club on the Gulf Coast
Established 1979
Texas Mariners Cruising Association is a 501(c)(7) nonprofit social club formed in 1979 to promote cruising and related boating activities. Our membership is for both power and sail, with the majority of members keeping their boats at the various marinas in the Clear Lake area. Cruises are organized throughout the year for many destinations on Galveston Bay, the Gulf Coast and beyond. In addition, numerous social events are scheduled, ranging from informal dock parties at local marinas to the Annual Commodore's Ball.
Education is also an important element of TMCA. Monthly meetings feature educational and entertaining programs, while occasional courses are sponsored on a variety of boating topics. Naturally, the greatest educational benefit comes from participation in the club cruises.
Organized cruises can be day or weekend adventures on Galveston Bay. We also have trips where we charter boats for one to two weeks in Mexico, the Caribbean, Belize, Croatia, and other exotic places.
TMCA members include families, couples, and singles - a wonderful group of people sharing a common interest. This active, fun-loving group welcomes other boating enthusiasts, and we look forward to meeting you!
