Saturday-parade watch party at Ave. H and 25th. The parade rolls at noon from 25th and the Seawall. Bring chairs and picnic lunch.

The Barn Bash is Galveston's biggest Mardi Gras party, and it's happening the evening before the Seawall Parade and will be held on February 21st from 7:00 p.m. until 11:00 p.m. at the Aquarius Float Barn 1517 31st.This event is open to the public (21 years or older) and features live entertainment, food, beverages, dancing, face painting, and throws. Admission for the event is only $30 CASH
What's a Barn Bash?
The Barn Bash is held at the Aquarius Float Barn 1517 31st , a 20,000-square-foot warehouse where many of the Mardi Gras floats are stored. This gives you a unique opportunity to see the floats up close before the big parade.
In addition to the floats, the Barn Bash also features a live band, food, beer, and wine. There's plenty of room to dance and party, and you're sure to have a blast. Bring a chair if you want to sit down.
Your admission price includes a meal catered by a local favorite La Estacion. (7 – 8:30pm or until gone), and your choice of beer, wine, or soft drinks. NOTE: TABC rules only allow us to serve an individual 2 drinks at a time.
The highlight of the event starts at 9:00 p.m., when the Krewe members board their floats to throw beads to the crowd. The challenge is to see who can catch the most and fanciest beads.
For the Saturday parade watch we will meet at the intersection of Ave. H and 25th. We will go early to stake out a place and await the parade. Bring chairs and food and beverages.
