Cancelled Due to Corona Virus
Due to the great success of last years Allen’s Landing trip we are going again in the spring. Dates are set for Thursday April 2nd through Sunday morning April 5th. This is an extended version with four days and three nights at the landing in downtown Houston. If four days isn’t enough, we might have a few hardcore cruisers spend Wednesday night at Bayland Marina (O’Neil’s Pub) details to follow. This is a powerboat only cruise due to bridge height restrictions (24’) and 7 knot speed requirement. There is no water or electricity so full tanks, inverters and generators are a must. If you haven’t been up the ship channel and through the security zone before you are in for a real treat and a view of downtown Houston like no other.
Space is limited to 18 boats and cut off will be March 18th. Since we are passing through a government security zone, we will need the names, dates of birth and driver’s license numbers for all passengers. Once submitted we cannot modify this list.
We need someone to volunteer to plan and lead the social activities like sterngating, pub crawls, lawn games, trips on the train to unlimited destinations, meals, etc. Otherwise, this will be a very casual laid back cruise.
Nighttime security and a porta-potty will be provided. The registration fee will be $120.00 per boat.
Registration opens on Wednesday, February 26th at 6:00 p.m.
