Blessing of the Fleet

The Annual Blessing of the Fleet is scheduled for Sunday, June 26.  This event is sponsored by our good friends at the Elks Lodge.  Staging starts at 1:15 at the entrance of the Clear Creek Channel.    The parade includes pleasure boats as well as commercial shrimp boats.  Decorate your boat with the theme, "Roarin Into the Twenties".  Boats will be judged on decorations, costumes, and enthusiasm.  Register by June 10 and receive a free Blessing of the Fleet TShirt.  Additional TShirts can be purchased for $20.  Registration fee includes a $10 deposit for the Boat Number which can be refunded when you bring the sign back to the Elks at the Awards Ceremony on Sunday, June 28, 4:30, Elks Lodge, 623 Hanson Road.
