See Houston like you’ve never seen it before! We’ll kayak down Buffalo Bayou and travel thru Memorial Park (is this Houston?), past River Oaks (yep, this is Houston!), and into downtown. To see the city from this angle is amazing. It will be interesting to see the changes from Harvey. It’s a 7 mile course, all downstream, little or no experience is needed.
Cost for a two person kayak is $100, single kayak $75. If you’d like to bring your own kayak, the cost is $20 to transport.
This is the ultimate "Valet Kayaking". They’ll supply the PFDs, kayak, paddles, transportation to where we’ll drop in at 610 and Memorial Drive, and guide. You bring your camera, sunscreen, water, snack, hat, water shoes, smile, sense of adventure, and perhaps a change of clothes J. With all of the calories we’ll burn, we’ll head to lunch at Stanton's City Bites for conversation and some much deserved burgers and beer.
