Lance Olshovsky has invited us to enjoy a relaxing evening at the Houston Yacht Club, where he keeps his S/V "Goose", on Friday, Aug. 4 from 6 to 9 p.m. We'll also be "saluting" the Coast Guard on its 233rd birthday! 6 p.m. - Cocktails in the bar, or order them from the pool, whichever you like! 7 p.m. - Potluck dinner together at the Beachcomber pavilion. BYOB is allowed there. Bring whatever you like to share. 8:30 p.m. - Birthday cake...and any toasts/tributes that any TMCA member would like to give our fearless and faithful Coasties! To buy drinks and/or pay for your slip, you'll need to fill out a guest form, Houston Yacht Club Guest Card Form.pdf. Scan it and send it to info@houstonyachtclub.com. ahead of time to make check-in at the front desk more efficient. They’ll assign us numbers to use when we order. Yes, you can sail or motor over!
