Join us Memorial Weekend for TMCA and Jacques Cousteau’s Undersea World!
Here is what you need to bring for the weekend:
- 1. Your conch shell horn
- 2. Hotdogs and buns and roasting sticks
- 3. 1 or 2 empty liter soft drink bottles per person
- 4. Your dive masks
- 5. A dish to share Saturday night Potluck Dinner
- 6. A breakfast dish to share Sunday Morning
- 7. Swim floats
- Friday night
- · Docktails at 6 pm – conch horn blowing practice and light up the fire pit
- · 7 pm Weenie roast dinner BYOWs , Bs and roasting sticks
- · 8:14 pm conch horn blowing salute to sunset
- · Dive tank making session for Saturday night costume. With a glue gun and string we will show you how. This is what the empty liter bottles are for.
Saturday Daytime: Free time, Moody pool and or enjoy your dingy.
- Saturday night.
- · Attire: Dress like Jacques! Wear all black (short or long) to look like a wet suit and wear dive mask and your new dive tank we made Friday night. Got a red cap too?
- · 6 pm Docktails and conch horn song blow-along (we will be real good since we practiced on Friday and will likely have been drinking all day)
- · “Dive in” to the 7 pm potluck supper bring a dish to share

- · Octopus Toss Extravaganza
- · Music and Dancing Divers
Sunday morning: 9:00 am Bring a breakfast dish to share onboard research vessel Calypso. Bring your own drinks.
Sunday Daytime: Free time, Moody pool and or enjoy your dingy.
- Sunday night
- · 5:00 pm - Your choice, dinner on your own or, Reservations! --eat at Katies Seafood Restaurant on the Strand by Harbor House. Take the Moody Shuttle bus or meet us there. RSVP NEED A HEAD COUNT FOR RESTAURANT.
- · The Moody shuttle bus holds 14 people so first come first serve TO GET THERE ON THE SHUTTLE Sign up and pay for the bus ride on the website, cost is $13 pp, round trip, includes tax and tip. Or, sign up for wait list and see if we can fill the second bus. (Each bus is $150 + $12.32 tax + tip.) OR Uber. Lyft. Come in your car.
- · After dinner - Bar hop and Stroll on the Strand
- · Moody Shuttle back to marina around 9:30 pm.
Monday Morning – Go Home!
Registration: Registration opens Thursday, April 29th at 6:00pm to Sunday, May 23rd at 6:00pm.
The cut- off date for Registration is May 23rd. There are no refunds after this date unless your spot can be filled with someone from the wait list.
If your spot can be filled with someone from the waitlist you will receive a refund less the admin fees.
Since we have several new members or for those who are unfamiliar with the new website, You can find the registration button on the website under CRUISES-EVENTS or on the CALENDAR!
Fee is $ 211 (includes: Fri, Sat and Sunday nights, tip, and admin fee)
(if you are arriving before or leaving after, you’ll need to contact Moody to make pymt)
You’ll receive an email for slip assignments after registration is closed.
Radio Channel 68 will be monitored for docking.
