Great news! It’s time to restart our cruise schedule! Moody Gardens is opening on Memorial Day weekend, May 22. We have the marina reserved and plan to have great cruise as we emerge from our cocoons! Let’s make up for lost time with this DockParty/MonthlyMeeting/Easter/Full Moon, etc Cruise!
Keeping with what we have all become used to, we will maintain our appropriate distances with regard to the following….
Three night reservation, Friday May 22, Saturday May 23 and Sunday May 24 (checking out on Monday May 25). $65/night for a paid total of $195.
Or
Two night reservation, Saturday May 23 and Sunday May 24 (checking out on Monday May 25). $65/night for a paid total of $130.
I was told they will be pressure washing the docks, sanitizing things, bringing us ice and offered the golf cart to schlep us around as requested....the normal stuff Moody offers!
Sterngating and docktails, but no shared meals. We can share stories though, as we can have breakfasts on the bayou, picnics on the patio, and dinners by the dock. Please plan on bringing all your own stuff, including food, plates and utensils, drink, chairs, bleach, hand sanitizer and whatever else you need for a fabulous getaway to one of our favorite destinations.
Dingies are encouraged as a dingy-thingy will happen at least once, to go exploring and socializing. Details to follow…
Pool and pool bar will be open! Lobby Bar will be open. Café at the Park will be open from 8:00a.m. – 9:00p.m. Shearn’s will be open and taking reservations. There has been no decision as of this writing as to whether Palm Beach or the Pyramids will be opened. As soon as I know, I will pass info on.
Registration will open on the web site on Thursday, May 14 at 6:00p.m.
We will maintain a wait list if the marina fills, so please sign up and stay flexible.
Another great option is to anchor out and dingy in. Or even stay at Pelican Rest and dingy over for our contactless socializing.
